When travelling overseas it is important to have a variety of ways to pay, because you can’t be sure things will always go as planned. SBS Bank can help with:
Foreign Cash (Service Temporarily Unavailable)
Local currency for initial taxis, tips and a coffee. It is important to have some of the local currency. Whether it is for a taxi, a bottle of water, lunch on the run, to barter for that silk scarf or just for emergencies having some foreign cash is important.
Grab some cash before you go overseas. SBS Bank branches can order members that hold a Transactional account, foreign cash in most major currencies.
Note that foreign cash must be ordered into our branches upon request and may take a couple of days to arrive. You will receive the prevailing rate on the day of the transaction which may differ from the rate offered when you place your order.
A 1% Foreign Cash Order fee applies. For our Fees and Charges please click here.
