Accessing cash services with SBS Bank

We’re here to make everyday banking simple. There are convenient ways to withdraw and deposit cash when you need it.

Ways to get cash

Withdraw cash anytime using your SBS EFTPOS card or Debit Mastercard at ATMs across New Zealand. This is a free service with all New Zealand bank ATMs; other non-bank providers may charge for this service.

Ways to deposit cash

SBS Members can deposit cash at any Westpac branch across New Zealand, free of charge. This gives you a simple option for depositing cash close to home or work.

Simply visit a Westpac branch to deposit cash over the counter. Let staff know you’re depositing into your SBS Bank account and have your account number and valid ID ready.

Funds are usually available in your account later the same day.

Note: A limit of $9,000 per deposit, per day applies. Westpac refer to this as an agency deposit.

Use your Card

With your SBS EFTPOS card or Debit Mastercard, you can:

  • Withdraw cash or check your account balance from ATMs

  • Pay online* or in-store

  • Manage your everyday spending

If you don’t have a card, we can help you get set up.
