Easter and Anzac Day Holidays
Due to the upcoming Easter and Anzac Day holidays, there will be slower processing times for payments made to non-SBS accounts made via Internet Banking.
Internet banking information for public holidays
Processing times for payments for Easter and Anzac Day:
Good Friday (19 April), Easter Monday (22 April) and Anzac Day (25 April) are public holidays, so no payments between banks will be processed over the weekend or on the public holidays:
Payments made to any other bank through internet banking from Good Friday to Easter Monday (19 – 22 April) won’t appear in the recipient’s account until Wednesday morning (24 April).
Payments made to another bank through internet banking on Anzac Day (25 April) won’t appear in the recipient’s account until the following Saturday morning (27 April).
Eftpos and ATM transactions will process normally.
Our branches will be closed on Good Friday (19 April), Easter Monday (22 April) and Anzac Day (25 April).
Changes to Working for Families payment date
Due to Easter and IRD changing its payment date for Working for Families, please plan for a longer than normal gap between payments.
From 29 April, IRD Working for Families payments change from Monday to Tuesday. If you normally receive your payment on a Monday evening (ie 29 April), your next payment will be on Tuesday, 30 April. For more information on IRD Working for Families payments, visit ird.govt.nz.
